Before beginning medical treatment that could affect fertility, Keerthana and Ananya visit a fertility specialist.

The doctor explains sperm preservation and the possibility of storing samples for future assisted reproduction.

Keerthana feels uncomfortable discussing such personal matters.

Keerthana: "I thought about my identity, but I never imagined discussing parenthood this way."

Ananya holds her hand.

Ananya: "We don't have to decide everything about children today. But let's understand our options."

The doctor explains that preserved sperm may potentially be used later with Ananya's eggs through IVF or ICSI, subject to medical assessment.

After counselling and informed consent, Keerthana chooses to preserve sperm samples.

Outside the clinic, they sit together quietly.

Keerthana: "I was frightened that choosing my identity meant giving up every other dream."

Ananya: "We are trying to keep our future possibilities open."

When they return home, Padma asks how the appointment went.

Keerthana smiles.
