Chapter 26 – A New Morning

Scene: Family home – After hospital recovery

After completing the initial hospital recovery, Keerthana returns home.

The family has prepared her bedroom with fresh bedsheets, comfortable nightwear and everything recommended by her doctors.

Ananya takes responsibility for helping her with daily routines and medical appointments.

Saroja prepares nutritious meals, while Padma helps manage household responsibilities.

Athamma regularly checks whether Keerthana has taken her prescribed medicines.

One afternoon, Keerthana struggles emotionally with her recovery.

Keerthana: "I thought everything would become easy after surgery. But I still have difficult days."

Ananya sits beside her.

Ananya: "Recovery is not a competition. You don't have to prove anything to anybody."

Later, Grandmother comes into the room and gently massages Keerthana's feet after asking whether she would like it.

Keerthana becomes emotional.

Keerthana: "I never imagined receiving this much affection."

Grandmother: "You are our family. That's enough."

Ending moment: Keerthana falls asleep peacefully while Ananya sits beside her, holding her hand.
