During another vacation, Aadya suggested that Pradeep try a traditional langa jacket.
"Let's choose something festive," she said.
Pradeep laughed nervously. "You really want to turn me into your fashion project."
"Only if you agree," Aadya replied.
At the store, Pradeep selected a mustard-yellow langa with an embroidered jacket. Surabhi helped him choose gold-toned earrings, matching bangles, and a simple necklace.
Back home, Aadya helped him put on the outfit and arranged his hair into two neat braids.
Pradeep checked the mirror several times, adjusting his bangles and the jacket.
"Do the colours match?" he asked.
Aadya raised her eyebrows. "You're asking me for fashion advice now?"
"Don't make me regret it!"
Surabhi laughed.
When Pradeep finally saw the complete outfit, he felt proud. He had chosen the clothes, accessories, and hairstyle himself.
He was discovering that experimenting with feminine clothing was not simply about how he looked. It was also about having the freedom to explore his preferences without feeling ashamed.
