Part 6
Chapter 14: The Adornments of Dawn
The second morning of Rajjo’s "training month" began with a ruthless, sharp chime of silver anklets against her own ankles, jarring her from sleep. She awoke with a heavy, localized pressure in her chest and the scratchy, restrictive weight of the wig pinning down her skull. She touched her nose; the small diamond stud was still stinging slightly.
Before she could process the physical discomfort, Kamal Aai marched into the room, snapping open the curtains to let in the bright Konkan sun. She threw a neatly folded, newly purchased, sky-blue Punjabi salwar suit with a matching white chiffon dupatta onto the bed.
"Up, up, Rajasi beta!" her mother chirped, displaying a terrifying lack of mercy. "Training is underway. Adhik Maas is just a few weeks away, and we need every day to perfect your posture. Go get freshen up fast, have a bath and wear this salwar kameez. And help me in kitchen for breakfast preparation before you start for your office work."
Chapter 15: The Bathroom Crisis
The true test of the morning arrived with the shower. For Rajas, a bath was five minutes of efficiency. For Rajasi, it was a tactical nightmare.
Kamal Aai stood guard outside the bathroom door. "Listen Rajjo, don't remove the wig. Also don't make it wet. You are not habitual with the long wet hairs. We will see what to do with them later !"
Standing in the steamy bathroom, Rajjo struggled to wash the rest of her body while shielding her scalp. Also, out of sheer innocence and a lack of knowledge about what to do, Rajjo decided to keep wearing the bra that was holding her "heavy chest" in place. The already heavy bra, made even heavier by getting wet, pulled painfully against her skin.
After her bath, she somehow managed to remove her wet bra, carefully supporting her breast forms so they wouldn't fall off. By the time she had dried herself, she felt physically battered and exhausted.
She put on a fresh bra and panty set that had been tucked inside the salwar kameez outfit given to her by Kamal Aai.
Getting into the salwar suit was a unique physical dilemma. While the loose *patiala* trousers were comfortable, the tight, tailored *kameez* required significant maneuvering to fit over the voluminous, heavy silicone breast forms, compressing them into a stark, undeniably feminine silhouette.
She was just collapsing into her bed to relax as a soft knock sounded. Ira slipped in, carrying a small, professional cosmetic kit.
"Crisis report?" Ira teased, her wicked smile widening as she saw Rajjo’s disheveled state. She walked over, gesturing toward Rajjo’s chest. "I saw you fumbling at the temple yesterday. The training is pointless if the 'parts' don't cooperate. And also to help you avoid the daily hassle of putting them on and taking them off..." With a naughty smirk, from her kit, Ira pulled out a specialized tube of medical-grade, waterproof adhesive glue. She sat on the desk right in front of Rajjo, leaning in until they were inches apart.
"This is going to sting slightly, and then it’s going to bond," Ira murmured, her professional designer voice barely masking her playful dominance. Her cool fingers slipped under the edge of the *kameez*, gently lifting the soft silicon form inside her bra. She brushed a layer of the glue along the edge, pressing it firmly back against Rajjo’s smooth, hairless chest.
Rajjo stood entirely frozen, holding her breath. The proximity was intoxicating; she could smell Ira’s jasmine perfume over the sharp scent of the glue. Ira worked deliberately, sealing the edges of the voluminous forms, creating a permanent, immersive bond.
"There," Ira whispered, looking up through her long lashes, her hand lingering on Rajjo's sternum. "They won't budge a fraction now. You are officially, permanently a well-endowed girl. For this month, at least."
Rajjo stared at her, her face burning a deep crimson, utterly speechless and trapped between embarrassment and desire.
And Ira continued having a naughty, mischievous smile on her face.
Chapter 16: The 'Sanskari' Girl
Later that morning, the Trio—Rajjo, Ira, and Ria—set off for the compulsory upper village temple walk, a vital part of the training to teach Rajjo a graceful gait. Mindful of the local eyes, Rajjo had tightly covered her entire head, including the bulky wig, with her dupatta, wrapping it like a protective layer across her mouth and nose.
As they approached the temple gates, Rajjo’s phone buzzed. It was Kamal Aai.
"Raju! I mean, Rajasi!" Her mother's voice was sharp. "I forgot to remind you. Don't miss to take a pallu on head while taking the darshan! Don't walk into the shrine with that wrapped face!"
"Aai, we have already decided on it. You remember it, right? That's why I have covered the dupatta over my face. If I remove it, people may recognise me!" Rajjo whispered urgently into the phone, trying to keep her voice in the feminine register Ira had taught her.
"I don't care! A proper *sanskari* (cultured) girl shows reverence to the Devi! Put the *pallu* over your head, now!"
Sighing through the white chiffon, Rajjo removed the dupatta from her face and adjusted it's loose ends. She pulled the fabric high over the crown of her head, allowing the *pallu* to drape submissively over her shoulders, bowing her head as they stepped into the courtyard.
Ira, wearing a pair of modern jeans and a short kurti, walking right beside this tall, pallu covered, modestly draped figure, felt her heart swell with affection. The contrast of her private, fiercely intelligent boyfriend in this state of ultimate submission was beautiful.
As they passed the main shrine, an elderly neighborhood woman and the head local Pandit stopped. The Pandit glared at Ria and Ira’s jeans, then his gaze softened completely upon seeing Rajjo.
"Look at this girl," the woman praised, gesturing toward Rajjo’s covered head and submissive posture. "This is true culture! Even though she is a guest, she shows more respect for our Devi than our own girls."
The Pandit nodded. "A true, pure *sanskari* daughter. You two," he snapped at Ira and Ria, "should learn some modesty from your guest!"
Ira and Ria bowed their heads, playing along with the lecture. Ira bit her lip, desperately trying not to explode with laughter, thoroughly enjoying the wicked irony of her modern-dressed self being scolded in comparison to her 'perfect, sanskari' covered boyfriend.
Chapter 17: Bangles on the Backend
The public charade was complete, but the bizarre duality of Rajjo’s life had just hit its highest gear. By 10:00 AM, the 'sanskari' village girl had to log back into the global corporate matrix.
Rajjo locked her bedroom door, moving to her desk where her office laptop was open. She settled into the office chair, the unaccustomed weight on her chest pressing against the desk.
She opened the device, getting ready to push a complex backend code update. The clinking of her mandatory green glass bangles echoed loudly with every stroke on the mechanical keyboard. Every time she shifted her posture to debug an error, the silver anklets around her feet chimed softly against the red-tiled floor.
It was just the 2nd day of training, and the actual *Adhik Maas* was still weeks away. Yet, while the digital world ran flawlessly under her fingers, the software engineer from Pune was officially operating under a completely new, beautifully chaotic operating system.
