Priya :A Journey of Long Hair

One evening, Aadya was organizing her wardrobe when she found a soft floral nightgown she no longer used.

She showed it to Pradeep.

"Would you like to try this?"

He immediately shook his head. "No, Akka. That's not for me."

Aadya did not argue. She simply folded the nightgown and put it aside.

Later, curiosity made Pradeep reconsider. In the privacy of his room, he tried the comfortable nightgown and stood before his mirror.

He felt awkward at first. Then he noticed how soft the fabric was and how comfortable it felt.

When Aadya knocked, he hesitated before opening the door.

She looked at him kindly.

"You look comfortable, Pradeep."

He lowered his eyes. "I never thought I'd try something like this."

"You don't have to decide anything today," she replied. "Just be honest with yourself."

Pradeep felt relieved that she did not tease him. He folded the nightgown carefully and put it away.

He still had many questions, but he no longer felt that every question needed an immediate answer.
