Priya :A Journey of Long Hair

During the holidays, Aadya announced that she and Surabhi were going to a beauty parlour.

"Pradeep, you're coming with us," she said.

"Why should I come?"

"Because your hair needs proper care, and you never listen when I explain how to maintain it."

Pradeep reluctantly agreed.

At the parlour, the stylist examined his long hair and recommended conditioning, careful detangling, and a few simple hairstyles. Aadya encouraged him to try two braids, but Pradeep preferred a low ponytail.

Surabhi supported his choice.

"Let him choose what he likes. It's his hair."

Those words made Pradeep feel respected.

The stylist showed him how to use a decorative silver clip. When he looked in the mirror, he was surprised by how much he liked the simple style.

He removed the clip after a few moments, but the experience stayed in his mind.

For the first time, he understood that trying something different did not have to be embarrassing.
