THE SECOND WEDDING PROPOSAL
One evening, the four friends gathered in the living room.
Ananya had an idea.
"What if we arrange a second wedding for Neha and Prem?"
Prem looked up.
"Another wedding?"
Divya smiled.
"Not a legal wedding. A celebration. A renewal of your vows."
Neha's eyes filled with tears.
Their original wedding had been beautiful, but Prem had felt uncomfortable during the traditional ritual.
Now they could create their own ceremony.
A ceremony based on love, trust, and choice.
Prem looked at Neha.
"Would you like that?"
Neha nodded.
"More than anything."
Ritu smiled.
"Then we have one month to prepare."
The apartment became a wedding-planning studio.
The women chose flowers, decorations, outfits, and music.
Prem would wear a traditional feminine outfit for the ceremony, if he wanted.
Neha would wear a beautiful saree.
But there was one important detail.
Prem would decide the final look himself.
One evening, Neha showed him a sky-blue saree.
Prem touched the fabric.
"It's beautiful."
Neha smiled.
"Then this is the one."
He looked at her.
"Only if you wear the pink saree you liked."
Neha laughed.
"Deal."
The friends began preparing the decorations.
Ananya arranged the flowers.
Divya selected the jewelry.
Meera planned the food.
Ritu prepared the ceremony schedule.
Prem and Neha sat together one night, looking at the photographs from their original wedding.
Prem smiled.
"Do you remember how nervous I was?"
Neha laughed.
"You were shaking."
Prem held her hand.
"This time, I want to remember every moment."
Neha kissed his forehead.
"Then let's make it unforgettable."
The second wedding was no longer just a surprise.
It was a promise.
