PART 6 — THE VANISHING
CHAPTER SIXTEEN — THE EMPTY ROOM
Present day. Inside Anvi and Rajvir's flat after Rajvir's kidnapping...
The disappearance of Rajvir changed the atmosphere of both families overnight. The excitement surrounding the upcoming marriage disappeared completely, replaced by fear, confusion and endless questions that nobody could answer.
Anvi sat surrounded by both families, still shaken and unable to stop thinking about the deserted road. She described everything she could remember—the car stopping, the masked stranger approaching them, the confusion that followed, losing consciousness and finally waking up alone.
But deep down inside, guilt was consuming her. She kept thinking about the secret wedding she had insisted upon, remembering how Rajvir had reluctantly agreed, dressed as Rajvi for her and smiled at her before they left home.
"If I hadn't insisted on going to the temple..." she whispered.
Rajvir's mother shook her head firmly.
"This isn't your fault beta."
The police began questioning Anvi and collecting whatever information they could, while members of both families tried contacting everyone who might have seen them that day. The deserted road was again examined, possible routes were investigated, but the circumstances surrounding the disappearance made everything extremely difficult. Meanwhile, the police had retrieved the mobile phones of Anvi and Rajvir, which the kidnapper had discarded near the deserted road.
Far away from the worried families, Sia was sitting inside the secret place she had prepared long before Rajvir ever disappeared.
For years, she had imagined this moment.
Now it had finally happened.
She looked at Rajvir — her “Rajjo", who was almost naked, except for her bonds, still tightly cuffed to the bed, gagged and blindfolded, safely kept away from the outside world — on the big screen, watching her through the camera set up in the secret room. And for the first time in a long time, she allowed herself to smile without hiding it.
"After all these years, Rajjo..."
Her voice carried a strange mixture of triumph and old pain.
"You finally belong to me, forever."
She had spent years believing that Rajvir and Anvi had forgotten the pain they had caused her, never realizing that, they didn't even hurt her or even aware that their actions had caused her any pain. She alone had carried the memories of that farewell night. Now, in her mind, the balance had finally shifted.
Sia wanted Rajvir to remain confused about what would happen next, while she continued imposing her own strict rules on him and making him understand that the happy life he had built with Anvi was no longer entirely within his control.
For Sia, the most satisfying part was not the capture of Rajjo itself.
It was knowing that somewhere outside, Anvi was desperately searching for the person she loved.
She imagined Anvi sitting at home, crying and asking the same question again and again.
Where is Rajvir?
Sia smiled faintly.
"Now you understand what it feels like to lose someone."

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN — THE SEARCH STOPS
The search for Rajvir continued through the following days, with both families refusing to accept that there might be no immediate answer. Anvi barely slept any night, repeatedly checking her phone every time even though she knew there was little chance of receiving a message. Every unfamiliar sound outside made her hope that Rajvir had somehow returned, and every passing hour without news made her fear grow stronger.
Rajvir's mother sat with his photographs in her hands, crying quietly.
"He was here few days back," she whispered. "How can he simply disappear?"
Anvi had no answer.
She kept remembering the way Rajvir had looked before they left for the temple - her happy Rajvi, dressed as a beautiful bride for the private ceremony she had wanted so badly. She remembered teasing him, holding his hand in the car and telling him that she was happy.
Now that same memory felt painful.
Then, just as the authorities were preparing to expand the search, a much larger crisis overtook the country.
The government announced a nationwide lockdown because of the rapidly spreading virus.
The announcement changed everything.
Travel restrictions were imposed, roads became deserted, public movement was severely limited and normal investigative activities became far more difficult. Search teams could no longer move freely, and many of the people who might have helped were themselves confined by the restrictions.
Anvi watched the announcement in disbelief.
"No...No...Oh God" She was about to cry, again.
Her family gathered around her.
"What happens to the search now?"
Nobody had a comforting answer.
The investigation would continue where possible, but the lockdown meant that many physical searches and movements had to be postponed or severely restricted.
For Anvi, it felt as though the world had closed its doors at exactly the moment she needed it most.
She broke down.
"We have to find him. I need to find him and apologize. This is all happening because of me."
Her mother held her tightly.
"We will beta."
"But what if something happens to him while everyone is locked inside?"
Her voice cracked.
Rajvir's mother began crying too.
"God, at least let us know where my son is..."
The families tried to remain hopeful, but fear was becoming impossible to hide.
The wedding date that had once been discussed with excitement was now meaningless.
The decorated plans remained untouched.
The clothes remained packed away.
The temple ceremony had never happened.
And Rajvir's place in the family home remained empty.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN — SIA'S VICTORY
The lockdown that brought despair to Rajvir's family brought an unexpected advantage to Sia.
The roads were almost empty.
Movement was restricted.
The investigation was slowed.
And the world outside was preoccupied with a crisis much larger than the disappearance of one person.
Sia understood exactly how much that changed the situation.
She sat in her secret room, watching the news reports about the lockdown while remaining completely calm.
The reporters spoke about empty roads, closed businesses and restrictions on movement.
Sia barely listened.
Her focus remained entirely on Rajvir now. This was her Rajjo, who now lay gagged and heavily bound in the secret bedroom and crying behind the tight leather blindfold, she was completely at Sia's mercy, forced to endure whatever "fun" Sia chose to inflict.
She had waited years to take control. Now, the lockdown ensured that no one could reach the place where she kept her.
A wave of victory washed over her. Driven by the heat of the moment, she returned to Rajjo to "claim" her once more. First, she shut down the electrical devices that had kept Rajjo on a physical and emotional edge for hours. Then, like a hungry animal, she pounced on Rajjo’s naked, tightly restrained, and weeping body—claiming every inch of her like a medal won in a brutal battle.
And using the large dildo once again, she ascended the podium to "claim her victory" and celebrate her prize.
Yet beneath that victory remained the complicated emotion she had carried since college. Her anger toward Rajvir and Anvi had been built over years, but seeing Rajvir again had awakened memories she had believed were gone forever.
She remembered the decent boy from college.
The boy who had been her best friend.
The boy she had secretly loved.
The boy she had watched choose Anvi.
And now that same Rajvir was within her reach.
Sia looked toward him and spoke quietly.
"You don't know how long I waited for this."
She wanted him to understand the pain she believed they had caused her, and she intended to keep him isolated while making him confront the consequences of the life he had built without her.
Meanwhile, Anvi spent another sleepless night surrounded by worried family members.
She kept looking at the silent phone in her hand.
No message.
No call.
Nothing.
She whispered Rajvir's name through her tears.
"Raj..."
Across the city, Sia watched the same night pass from the safety of her hidden location.
Two women were awake for completely different reasons.
Anvi was awake because she was terrified she might never see Rajvir again.
Sia was awake because she finally believed she had taken control of the story that had haunted her for years.
Outside, the entire country was becoming silent under lockdown.
Inside one home, a family waited desperately for their missing son.
Inside another hidden place, Rajvir remained restrained, separated from everyone he loved.
And somewhere between those two worlds, the truth remained completely concealed.
The search for Rajvir had begun.
But the lockdown had stopped it before it could truly get started.
And for Sia, that was exactly the opportunity she had been waiting for.
