Chapter 37: Unmasking The Laughter
The quiet tension in the room exploded into a chorus of unrestrained laughter. Ria was the first to give up, bending completely double on her cushion, her giggles echoing against the walls. Kamal Aai and Vandana Kaku wiped tears of delight from their eyes as they watched Rajjo sitting frozen on the floor, the heavy tea tray hovering inches off the table, her eyes wide with total, unadulterated shock.
"Look at her face, Vandana!" Kamal Aai laughed, shaking her head as she looked at her fully adorned 'daughter.' "Raju, oh sorry - Rajjo, you really thought you could play the big city software engineer and pull off this entire *hidden love affair* right under your mother's nose?"
Rajjo’s mouth opened and closed silently. The heavy pearl nath on her nostril trembled as she looked from Ira—sitting cross-legged in her sharp formal shirt with a smug, handsome grin—to the laughing elders.
"B-But... how?" Rajjo finally managed to squeak out, her voice slipping completely out of the trained feminine register and landing squarely in a shocked, high-pitched male voice that made everyone laugh even harder.
Vandana Kaku stepped forward, gently taking the heavy tea tray from Rajjo's stiff hands. "Oh, my poor Rajasi! Did you really think two mothers who raised you wouldn't notice? The way Ira looked at you when adjusting your Nauvari pleats? The secret blushing every time Ira complimented you for your looks? The slow but sudden clinking of your bangles whenever you two secret lovebirds were alone together in the room?"
"And remember how Ira was always with you at the temple?" Ria chimed in, wiping her tears. "Everyone could tell something was going on!"

Chapter 38: The Double Vow
While the families made fun of the grand charade, Ira casually slid her hand into her trousers pocket. Her thumb found her smartphone screen. With a wicked, imperceptible flick, she activated the hidden device once again.
A sudden, sharp pulse of low-frequency vibration shot directly through Rajjo's lower body.
Rajjo’s whole body twitched. A sharp, trapped gasp escaped her throat, her glass bangles smashing together with a frantic jingle as her hands flew to her lap. Her face, already flushed from embarrassment, burned a deep, fiery crimson.
"See?" Kamal Aai pointed out, entirely misinterpreting the physical tremor as deep shy emotion. "Look how overwhelmed she is! The *Adhik Maas* ritual was a complete success. The Devi has truly blessed this house."
Ira’s father cleared his throat, adjusting his jacket as he spoke up with a warm, proud smile. "All jokes aside, Rajas... or Rajasi, as we’ve come to know you this month! We saw the absolute devotion, patience, and love you showed for our Ira. Carrying this entire transformation while being near her... it proved to us who you truly are."
"Which brings us to the real reason we arranged this 'groom-seeing' ceremony today," Ira's mother added, stepping over to bless Rajjo’s covered head. "The formal engagement and official village wedding date for **Rajas and Ira** is officially fixed for two months from now!"
Rajjo tried to exhale a sigh of relief, but before he could speak, Ira’s mother wasn't done.
"However," Ira’s mother continued with a sly, affectionate grin, "our family has grown quite attached to our new daughter-in-law *Rajasi*. We met her during this holy *Adhik Maas*, and we are not giving her up so easily!"
"Wait... what?" Rajjo choked out, her breath catching as Ira tapped the app screen, ramping up the vibration to a continuous, rhythmic pulse that made Rajjo’s knees tremble under the heavy crimson Paithani saree.
"A second, private wedding date is also fixed!" Kamal Aai declared proudly. "Just a few days after the big village wedding. A special, private ceremony with only our two families present—where Ira will officially marry her beautiful, sanskari *Rajjo Rani*!"
Hearing this, everyone burst into laughter again, except Ira and Rajasi.
Ira, still fiddling with something on her phone, kept her head lowered, blushing as if trying to hide her face from the family.
Rajasi, meanwhile, was overwhelmed by everything around her and everything she was experiencing. The saree, the jewellery, the heavy pallu covering her head, the breast forms, the steel device she was wearing, and the gentle vibrations from Ira's phone app all added to the intensity of the moment. Unable to bear the teasing, she instinctively covered her face with both hands, blushing deeply and smiling shyly like a typical bride-to-be.
The movement made her bangles jingle softly. Hearing the familiar sound and seeing her bashful reaction, the entire family burst into even louder laughter.

Chapter 39: Bound to the Future
The room erupted into applause and warm congratulations. Both families began distributing the sweets from the tray, talking excitedly about wedding venues, silk sarees, and traditional Maharashtrian arrangements.
In the center of it all, Rajjo remained seated on the floor cushion, completely trapped.
The heavy silk Paithani weighed on her shoulders, the glued silicone forms rested firmly against her chest, and the gold Kamarbandh locked her waist into place. Beneath the folds of silk, the chastity device remained securely locked—the tiny silver key resting safely against Ira’s neck under her formal shirt collar.
Ira leaned in close under the pretense of offering Rajjo a sweet pedha. As she held the sweet to Rajjo’s lips, her fingers brushed against the delicate pearl nath.
"Congratulations, my beautiful bride," Ira whispered dangerously close to her ear, her thumb making one final, sharp adjustment on her phone screen.
As the continuous, surging vibration set Rajjo’s entire body on fire, forcing her to bite down on the sweet to hold back a helpless moan while her glass bangles clinked rapidly in her lap, she looked into Ira's victorious, loving eyes.
The *Adhik Maas* was officially over, but the reign of Ira and her beloved Rajjo Rani had only just begun.
